Welcome To Bidpa

BIDPA is an independent trust set up by a Presidential Decree in 1995 as a non-government policy research institute. It focuses mainly on Policy Research and Analysis, and Capacity Building in Policy Analysis. BIDPA was established following the realisation that there was a need to have an independent research institute that can effectively conduct research, analysis and publication on development policy issues which are relevant to Botswana. BIDPA is the only think tank in Botswana in development policy analysis and is a leader in providing policy research, analysis, and advice in the country, particularly for Government.
