Margaret Sengwaketse is a trade specialist with more than 15 years’ experience in policy analysis on international trade. Her research interests are trade facilitation, regional integration, trade and development. Her publication record includes working papers, books, book chapters and policy briefs on various international trade topics. She has accumulated a lot of experience working with the Government by providing advice on trade policy and international trade matters to the government through membership to national technical committees dealing with international trade issues and participating in national debates on trade policy. She also contributes to trade policy dialogues at regional level. Over and above the extensive experience on international trade, Sengwaketse has 5 years’ experience in rural economic development and management where she coordinated the preparation, implementation and monitoring of district development plans.
