2nd Africa Regional Conference on Parliament and Legislation (AFRIPAL 2027)

The 2nd Africa Regional Conference on Parliament and Legislation (AFRIPAL 2027) will be held in partnership with the Botswana Institute for Development Policy Analysis (BIDPA), bringing together parliamentarians, researchers, policymakers, legislative drafters, governance practitioners, and development partners from across Africa and beyond.

Under the theme “African Parliaments in the Digital Age: Reimagining Possibilities for Better Performance and Networked Governance”, the conference will explore how digital technologies can strengthen parliamentary effectiveness, enhance citizen engagement, improve legislative processes, and support responsive governance.

AFRIPAL 2027 will provide a platform for knowledge exchange, networking, and collaborative dialogue on the opportunities and challenges shaping the future of parliamentary governance in Africa.
